Woman-owned marijuana dealer opens pop-up in Queens

new york — New York’s first female-owned hotel cannabis dispensary opened on thursday queens.
Good Grades welcomes you with a pop-up Jamaica.
The store is also the first retail location outside of Manhattan.
The store owners and people in line were excited about the opportunities that would be brought to the area.
“We care about family, we care about community. It’s not just a business here, it’s family,” said co-owner Extasy James. “We want the community to know that we are here for them.”
Thursday’s pop-up was mostly store previews. The owner plans to close and gear up for the official opening at a later date.
New York has received about 900 applications for cannabis retail licenses. It has been published about 70 times so far.
