It’s been over 30 years since the cute little Macaulay Culkin graced the movie screen as Kevin McCallister, who caught a thief from a forgotten child in “Home Alone.”
And now the iconic holiday movie Get a remake Treatment with The next flick of Disney + “Home Sweet Home Alone”. So will 41-year-old Culkin return to his roots and star in a new family movie?
Well, I’m sorry, you’re a filthy animal! Culkin confirmed on Wednesday that he was not part of the series restart.

The film follows 10-year-old Max Mercer (played by Jojo Rabbit star Archie Yates) who was accidentally left behind by his family on a family trip. Like the original, he has to fight the robbers who now confront Pam (Ellie Kemper) and Jeff (Rob Delaney) when they break into his house.
“Home Sweet Home Alone” seems to recognize the original movie. Devin Ratray, who played Kevin’s bully brother Buzz in the first movie, makes a cameo on a trailer as a cop with a badge labeled “McCarister.”
The script was written by “Saturday Night Live” writers Mikey Day and Streeter Saidel and directed by Dan Mather. “SNL” comedian Kenan Thompson has co-starred with Timothy Simons, Pete Holmes, Ally Maki and Chris Parnell.
“Home Alone” in the 1990s was written by legendary filmmaker John Hughes in the 80s and directed by Chris Columbus. Featuring the talents of Joe Pesci, John Heard and Catherine O’Hara. A sequel titled “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” was released in 1992.
The remake was first announced in 2019 and will be released on the streaming service on November 12th.
