As NewsChannel 13 reports, Vermont banned multi-household rallies earlier this month.
“The virus makes no difference just because we want to keep the tradition,” said state health commissioner Dr. Mark Levine.
“I don’t know when it will be a domino that will lead to the emergence of nursing homes, or whether it will drive the entire school to distance learning,” Governor Phil Scott warned Vermonters.
This move occurs as the state approaches the end of the most infectious month since the pandemic began. State health officials reported more than 1,500 new cases of the virus in November. This includes 148 daily records.
