Vermont predicts 50% increase in COVID-19 cases over the next 6 weeks

Health officials say informal gatherings with family and friends remain a major issue in the state. NewsChannel 13’s NBC affiliate in Burlington reports that more than 70% of recent state incidents are due to these types of rallies.

Recently, Vermont has introduced a new coronavirus restriction that helps control the spread of the virus. However, it will take at least two weeks before health authorities can determine if the regulation was in effect.

Governor Phil Scott sent a harsh message to Vermonter, who continues to ignore the COVID-19 guidelines.

“Don’t pretend it’s about freedom, because true patriots serve and sacrifice everyone, whether they agree with them or not,” says Scott. I did.

The state is preparing a field hospital at the One Credit Union Expo Center in Essex Junction. There are about 12 beds currently available, but the National Guard plans to add about 200 more beds by next week.
