NFT to commemorate Development of mRNA vaccine Set to be auctioned by Christie’s to fight COVID-19.

Non-alternative tokens (digital assets traded in blockchain technology) were designed by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, who are recognized as pioneers in the mRNA technology used in Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against COVID-19.

NFT contains 1 minute 3D mRNA animation Protects the immune system from COVID-19.

The video shows mRNA encapsulated within lipid nanoparticles. These are lipid droplets that help deliver mRNA to the parts of the body that provoke an immune response.

NFT, Penn’s first digital asset to date, will raise funds for further research.

Several other universities have introduced NFTs to carry out even more important research.

The auction will be held online by Christie’s from July 15th to July 25th.

The government is already preparing for the expansion of the vaccine and has been ordered to administer millions of doses for distribution to doctors, hospitals and community clinics nationwide.
