Two window washers plunge to 15 stories during Hudson Yards scaffolding malfunction

Two workers (a man in his twenties and a man in his thirties) were working outside the 50th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards on Saturday morning.
Officials say the scaffolding broke down and two men fell to the 35th floor.

Due to the height of the structure, the responder could not contact the workers and did not have time to wait for the ladder.
Firefighters pierced a window on the 37th floor and immediately arrived at the two workers, according to people familiar with the matter.
An ambulance rushed the two men to the hospital.
Doctors expect them to recover completely.
