The NFL playoffs will still be interesting for Jets fans

Jet is out of the playoffs for the 10th consecutive year. That means another January full of seeing other teams for Jets fans.

However, this is a problem. This year, we’ll see some familiar faces from these playoff teams. Depending on how you feel about the previous Jets, it may give you a persistent interest in … or the opposite.

Let’s take a look at the 14 teams currently in playoff positions. You can start with the Seahawks and Jamal Adams. The first round of 2017 picks, which were loved by Jets fans when he was here, left a bad taste in the fans’ mouths the way he left the town. Early termination from the playoffs means that Jets fans will not only see him quiet, but also get better draft topics from Seattle from the Adams trade. The position of the playoff team’s draft topic is determined by the losing round.

As Seattle moves forward, Adams will be able to meet his former teammates. Saints has De Mario Davis in the middle of the defense, and Davis is playing much better at Jets than ever before. The Cardinal has a Kelvin Beachum that starts with the correct tackle. The Buccaneers include former coach Todd Bowles as a defensive coordinator, as well as Steve McLendon, who shipped in October.

At AFC, Avery Williamson may be America’s luckiest man to move from the unwinned Jets to the undefeated Steelers. If the Steelers and Chiefs met in the AFC title game, he had a chance to attack his former teammate Lebion Bell. Bills started the long-standing Jet Brian Winters with a guard, and Picksheldon Richardson in the first round of the 2013 Jet started with the Browns defensive line.

Jets fans will have to wait at least another year for the team to return to the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t keenly interested in this year’s postseason.
