The Heisman Trophy will be announced on January 5th, but there will be no regular ceremonies in New York City and finalists will be announced on Christmas Eve.

The reworked Heisman schedule was revealed at ESPN on Saturday. The deadline for Heisman voters to submit ballots is December 21, two days after the conference championship game is scheduled to take place.

Heisman was scheduled to be distributed on December 12, before the college football schedule was changed by the coronavirus pandemic. It is currently awarded for 10 days from the College Football Playoff Semifinals on January 1st to the Championship Games in January. 11.11.

Tuesday night’s presentation ceremony on ESPN begins at Network Studios in Bristol, Connecticut. Finalists will appear via satellite.

ESPN also announced that it has agreed to a new multi-year contract to continue as a Heisman broadcaster. This is the 27th year that ESPN has broadcast the Heisman Trophy presentation.
