Texas Amber Alert: Joanna Luna Kidnapped in San Antonio

A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for Joanna Luna, a 13-year-old girl believed to have been kidnapped in San Antonio more than two months ago, local officials say. We recommend that you call 119 immediately.
Joanna was last seen at 2:50 am on August 20 at block 11700 of Springdale Drive in San Antonio. It wasn’t immediately clear why it took her over two months to issue a yellow alert for the missing girl.

Richard and Joanna are believed to be driving a U-Haul with Arizona license plate number AE4438.
No specific details have been released regarding the circumstances of Joanna’s disappearance. A spokesman for the San Antonio Police Department said on Oct. 1 that Joanna had a medical condition requiring “urgent care.”
Joanna is a 13-year-old Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes, who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark gray T-shirt, black and pink Nike shorts, and pink and purple slides.
