Texas Amber Alert: Janina Martinez missing after assault

A Texas Amber Alert has been issued for four-month-old Janina Martinez, who was kidnapped by her father for alleged assault in Irving, local officials say. Anyone with information is advised to call her 911 immediately.

Irving Police Department said 29-year-old Germey Martinez took Gianina into custody on suspicion of assaulting a victim in North MacArthur’s 6300 Block. Specific details were not immediately announced.

Janina is believed to be in “imminent danger” and investigators believe the suspect may be armed. “Do not attempt to make contact,” police said in a brief statement. .

Germey and Gianina may have been greeted by a friend driving a white Toyota Tundra truck with license plate number 18939DV.
