Brooklyn’s East New York — Authorities have begun searching for a suspect who has spent nearly $ 200 in Brooklyn using a dead man’s credit card.

Joseph Moore, 57, was found dead on the Brooklyn trail near Linden Boulevard and Linwood Street in eastern New York on March 9.

The next day, police were informed that a man had purchased a $ 108.87 mobile phone using Moore’s credit card at Mosin Digital along Liberty Avenue, officials said.

On March 11, authorities also discovered that a total of $ 77 was purchased in two separate transactions at Brooklyn Cap on Liberty Avenue.

Police sources say the suspect is currently being searched only using Moore’s credit card.

According to police sources, Moore’s death does not appear to be suspicious, but inspectors will identify the cause.
