Shoppers pack American Dream Mall with post-Christmas deals
East Rutherford, New Jersey (WABC) — Shoppers from all over the world flocked to the American Dream Mall, but few returned gifts.
You might even call it “Black Monday” — stores still have a lot of merchandise they want to clear out and are cutting prices to make it happen. It is said that he was saving money.
Holiday sales are up even as Americans pay more for food and rent.
Spending tracker ‘MasterCard Spending Pulse’, which expected a 7.1% increase in sales, has so far increased 7.6%. Clothing and restaurants are up strongly, while jewelery and electronics are down about 5%.
In the American Dream, restaurants and specialty stores were queuing. The ice skating rink, arcades and rides were all open until the evening.
