Shooting in Copiague, a delicatessen on Long Island, kills one and injures three

The shooting took place on Saturday after 6 pm at Lava Kitadeli on the Great Neck Road in Copiague.

When police arrived at the scene, they found four men shot in the deli.
A man, who had not yet been identified by police, was sentenced to death at the scene. Deli owners Amityville’s 61-year-old Bolivar Rodriguez, North Amityville’s 30-year-old Juan Ramone Avila Roque, and Copiague’s 40-year-old Daniel E. Acosta have been transferred. To a seriously injured local hospital.
There is no word as to what led to the firing.
