Seinfeld Super Fans Create Lego Set to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Well, here’s something to celebrate the show about nothing.

Seinfeld’s enthusiastic and video game designer Brent Waller made a hit to accurately create the 30th Anniversary Lego collection dedicated to the television series that helped shape his world. I spent over 5,000 hours re-watching all 180 episodes of Sitcom in the 90’s.

His 1,326 piece production Open to the public for $ 79.99 on August 1st..

“When Seinfeld debuted in 1989, I was a kid raised in a small Australian town,” Waller, 42, told Post.

The first acclaimed comedy aired on July 5th of the year was the eponymous frontman Jerry Seinfeld (now 67) and his city companion George Costanza’s band ( Jason Alexander, 61) is chasing the hilarious misfortune. , Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, 60) and Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards, 71).

“It’s been one of my favorite shows because it gave me a window to New York City,” added Waller, who previously worked for Lego, “seinfeld” through the brand’s “idea” platform. We marketed “Seinfeld” toys. “Access to people with an ironic sense of humor like me, a place I’ve never been to.”

So in June 2019, he created a 12-inch wide, 7-inch deep, and 5-inch high Lego replica of the iconic Seinfeld set. A real cast with unmistakable furniture in Jerry’s apartment. A legendary stand-up stage of member figurines and comedians.

And after more than two years of tweaking the structure with the Danish Lego Ideas team, Waller’s work is now in vibrant colors.

“Creating art for the cast of’Seinfeld’was the most challenging and exciting part of Bring.[ing] Waller is alive, “says Lego graphic designer Crystal Fontan. “It was difficult to choose which version felt most faithful to their personality over the nine seasons.”

Born in Bronx, now living near the Lego headquarters in Billund, Denmark, Fontan, along with co-designers Madison O’Neill and Cesar Soares, cleverly captured the essence of the distinctive talents of each cast member’s collection.

“As a big fan of the show, we also tried to add some really cool details and Easter eggs to the set,” O’Neill said.

For the 30th anniversary set of “Seinfeld”, there are some cooler Yada, Yada, Yada.

Creating a cast

Jerry

Lego designers have put on Jerry Seinfeld’s trademark buggy blue button-up and jeans. They created a new Lego hairpiece to reflect his classic 90’s mullet.

Irene

It was a hairy test. However, the design team looked around the rippling explosion of the brunette, centered around Elaine’s Lego.

George

The designer wore George Constanta his signature check shirt, khaki pants and a red jacket. Thin-framed glasses and bald hair give his Lego minifigure even more style.

Kramer

What would a Kramer Lego figure look like without an unforgettable lobster button-up and a brown jacket?

Newman

The Newman figurine is the least complex of all the characters you design and wears a mail carrier uniform.

bicycle

Jerry’s legendary Klein mountain bike had little effect on advancing the story of the episode, but it was an apartment fixture that Lego designers couldn’t forget to emphasize. I created a new shade of green to match the color of the motorcycle.

Uncle Leo’s photo

The Lego set of “Seinfeld” would not have been possible without a work dedicated to Uncle Leo (played by Len Lesser), a family that grows the eyebrows that everyone loves. His portrait is adorned in Jerry’s bedroom.

Elaine fish bag

To commemorate Elaine’s death in the “parking lot” episode, Lego designed a fish bag to decorate her figurine.
