Police officer dressed as Santa and elf nab suspected of being a car thief

You should be careful …

Two undercover police officers dressed as Santa Claus and his elf have stopped potential carjackers in California. This is also due to Centnick working on one of the suspects.

Riverside police said police officers were part of an operation called “Santa’s intervention” to curb retail theft during the holiday season.

On Thursday, they found three men allegedly trying to steal a white Honda CR-V in the parking lot of Canyon Springs Shopping Center.

One of the suspects managed to escape from the scene, while the other two tried to escape.

“Looking over my shoulder, I saw Santa chasing the second subject,” Det said. Paul Miranda told NBC Los Angeles.

In the footage, a policeman dressed as Santa Claus slammed a second suspect on the ground, and a policeman in an elf costume arrested the third suspect with a gun.

“Santa, catch him,” said the person who filmed the seasonal crime scene.

According to police, one of the two detained suspects was later released and the other was arrested for resisting possession of illegal drugs and arrest.

Police said the suspect had been identified and was asked to steal his car.
