Police say the policeman shot another woman with her ex-girlfriend.
Sources have told CBS2 that the policeman’s ex-girlfriend lives in the house where the shooting took place. The couple reportedly ended their relationship about a month ago, but were in contact.
It happened on 19th and 79th streets Bensonhurst..
As CBS2’s Corey James reports, sources have identified the policeman as 31-year-old Yvonneou and say she appeared at her 23-year-old ex-girlfriend’s house on Wednesday.
Around 5 pm, Wu went home with a 24-year-old Jamie Liang and a identified woman.
At some point after they arrived, police say they admitted that a five-and-a-half-year NYPD veteran had fired her gun.
“One woman, 24, was found lying in the living room area, and a second woman, 23, was found lying on the bedroom floor,” said NYPD Brooklyn South Assistant Chief. Michael Kemper said.
Valerie Wares says police have CPRed one woman and saw another go behind an ambulance.
Liang later died in the hospital. According to police, she was shot in the chest at least once.
The most shocking thing about Warez was knowing that the person who witnessed being placed behind the police car was the one who was given the badge for protection and service.
Police say Wu was out of the house and confessed to the shooting when they arrived.
“With her curious NYPD jacket,” Warez said. “It was very strange. She was very peaceful and calm.”
Police say it is not clear if she used a service rifle.
“She worked last night … she got off this morning, and she was going back tonight,” Kemper said.
I don’t know how the cop entered the house and how long she waited in the house.
Police say the ex-girlfriend was shot by the torso and is expected to be okay.
