New York (CBSNewYork) — — NYPD Officer Wilbert Mora continues to be hospitalized in crisis following Sunday Deadly encounter on Friday night Between the police and the suspect Harem Apartment.

Police answered a 911 call from a woman who reported a domestic dispute with one of her sons (later identified as McNeil) in an apartment on West 135th Street on Friday evening.

According to police, a woman and another son were in the living room when the three police officers arrived. McNeil was in the back bedroom and couldn’t see.
When Rivera (22) and Mora (27) approached the bedroom, McNeil allegedly fired and attacked both.
When McNeil left his bedroom and tried to leave the apartment, he encountered a Third Officer, who fired and beat McNeil with his right arm and head, police said.
McNeil, 47, has a history of posting anti-police and anti-government messages on social media. The source told CBS2.
