NYC Crime: A 74-year-old woman shot in Brooklyn on a fierce night in the city by an innocent bystander

Brooklyn, East New York (WABC)-A 74-year-old woman was shot by an innocent bystander in Brooklyn.

Police said the woman was shot dead at Pink Houses on Loring Avenue in eastern New York after 6:30 pm on Sunday.

She had a gunshot wound on her abdomen and was taken to Brookdale Hospital.

Police have not arrested.

Investigation is ongoing.

In addition, police are looking for shooters who shot four men in Brooklyn.

The shooting took place on Sundays around 8 pm near Rivonia Avenue and Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville.

Investigators say the suspect had a physical quarrel with four men. Police say he pulled out the gun and started shooting when the suspect escaped. A man had a gunshot wound on his head.

A bullet struck another man in his stomach.

Two men were scratched.
