It’s been 12 years since the nightclub Tope 1326 Opened in the former Royal Space on Grant Avenue. Primarily a dive bar, a sports bar and a dance club atmosphere that breaks the North Beach tradition of “exotic dance” clubs. Tope has been closed due to remodeling in the last two months, but club fans are lucky on Friday the 13th. Tope resumed at 4pm on Friday night with some preview photos of the new update.
The club’s new redesign has made the atmosphere significantly brighter. “For two months, the team worked behind the scenes, adding a whole new look and feel while regaining the fresh and fun atmosphere of the past,” the club said in a statement to Hoodline.
The first to pop out is Taupe’s new Parklet, adorned with a rainbow-colored Tulum-style swing chair.
Once inside, you’ll notice an improved specialty cocktail menu. They also installed steerheads, put in luxurious new cowhide upholstery, and revamped the stereo system and DJ booth. And check out that sweet new interior neon display!

Tope It will reopen on Friday, May 13th at 1326 Grant Avenue (between Green Street and Vallejo Street). Business hours are Sunday to Thursday from 4 pm to midnight and Friday to Saturday from 3 pm to 2 am.
