Newark, NJ (WABC)-Governor Phil Murphy called the latest coronavirus count in New Jersey harshly and calmly as he re-reported more than 4,000 new coronavirus cases for the fourth time in five days.

Murphy begged residents to avoid gatherings with non-family members, especially for their next Thanksgiving holiday.

He also worked with six other Northeast Governor to urge all universities to make the COVID-19 test available to all resident students before leaving for Thanksgiving breaks. I did.

Authorities advised students returning home for vacation to quarantine for 14 days before leaving school and to complete quarantine at home if necessary.

They should stay away from their relatives, avoid direct contact and wear masks. In addition, people with high-risk families should consider quarantine elsewhere.

New restrictions on indoor rallies came into effect on Tuesday in New Jersey. This is part of the authorities’ efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Indoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people, but from Monday, November 23, outdoor gatherings will be limited to a maximum of 150 people.

According to Murphy, some indoor rallies may continue under current rules and are limited to 25% of the room’s capacity of up to 150 people.
