New York Governor Kathy Hochul Talks Life as She Works One-on-One with Liz Cho for International Women’s Day

Shares details of Liz Cho’s interview with Gov. throughout Women’s History Month
New York (WABC) — EyeWitness News reporter Liz Cho sat down with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, the first woman to be elected Governor of New York, on International Women’s Day to discuss her life and work in politics.
Ho-chul started working in politics at age 15 and talked about how the situation for women has changed since then.
“At that age, I never imagined that a woman would be in this position,” Ho-chul said. “We were the backup, the brains behind a lot of men, writing speeches and press releases and helping them look good. That’s how my career started. For years, I’m a supporting role for men in politics.”
