Murphy finally sends a GSA letter paving the way for the transition to Biden

CNN reported on Monday afternoon that Emily Murphy, the leader of the General Procurement Department, had signed and submitted a letter acknowledging the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and officially initiating the transition process to President Byden.

The head of an independent federal agency, which oversees normal government functions, has been hesitant to issue letters for weeks as the Trump campaign filed unfounded legal objections to the election results.
