Mphasis subsidiary acquires UK-based eBECS

Bangalore (Karnataka) [India]June 2 (ANI): IT services company Mphasis announced on Friday that its subsidiary Mphasis Consulting has acquired eBECS Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of DXC UK International Operations and a provider of information technology solutions.

The size of the deal was not disclosed in a statement shared with the stock exchange. The company also said the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of closing conditions.

The acquisition will strengthen Mphasis’ ability to serve its customers’ needs, and the IT company will benefit UK businesses by introducing strong customer relationships and innovative service delivery and customer engagement models through Microsoft’s business applications. MPhasis, which specializes in cloud and cognitive services, announced Thursday a commitment to zero carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from its facilities and operations to become carbon neutral by 2030.
