Mike Perry wins Beyonce’s “Hello” as a UFC255 strike song

Mike Perry was given a pretty ironic strike song for his UFC255 match on Saturday.

On the way to the octagon, Beyonce’s track “Halo” began to ring in Perry’s surprise.

“Is this the King of’Hello’?” I heard him saying into the corner of the camera. “What f–k?”

The first choice for Perry’s walk-up song wasn’t available, so Beyonce’s hit song was chosen instead. Perry accepted the moment, but the official sang along with the song before checking in him.

Perry lost to Tim Means in a unanimous decision in a welterweight battle at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.

In October, Perry was accused of abuse by his ex-wife Daniel Nickerson, who said he had physically assaulted her “several times.” Nickerson issued a protection order against him in March, but was rejected by a Florida judge.

“Not this [something UFC president Dana White will see] And it looks like “He has been cut”. There is no way. There is no such effect. That’s not the reason, “Nickerson told MMA Junkie in October.

“This is to help others. It’s about what you can do to help people in situations of domestic violence, warning signs, and how to keep this out of something. It’s meant to disseminate information. Hopefully this will encourage the UFC to further check for head and brain injuries and actually take physical care. “

Perry denied all claims and wrote that he had never put his finger on Nickerson on social media. In July, Perry was treated after a video of hitting an old man at a Texas restaurant was talked about.
