Boston (AP) — A judge in the Superior Court has dismissed a request by a union representing 1,800 soldiers of the Massachusetts Police Department to postpone the obligation of Governor Charlie Baker’s state employee coronavirus vaccine.

The Massachusetts Police Association filed a lawsuit last week saying that the October 17 deadline caused “irreparable harm” to soldiers and wanted more time to “negotiate terms of employment.”
