Mask meets the Pope and uses Twitter to announce his audience | Technology

Rome (AP) — Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that he continues to bid $ 44 billion to buy Twitter and has met Pope Francis using a social media platform.

“I am honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday.” Musk tweeted A photo of the audience on Friday afternoon and a photo of Mask, Francis, and four teenagers of Mask.

The Vatican did not announce the audience or provide information about what was discussed. Musk’s tweet follows one of the Venetian street scenes, suggesting that he may have stopped elsewhere on the tour.

Francis frequently meets prominent figures in a strictly personal audience held in the drawing room of the Vatican hotel where he lives. The point of the story he often uses when meeting with the CEO of a company is to take care of God’s creation and appeal to them to use wealth and technology to help the poor.

On June 21, Twitter’s board recommended that shareholders approve the proposed purchase of Mask, but Twitter shares are well below his asking price and the sale will actually take place. Whether or not indicates something quite suspicious.
