A man in Iowa was reportedly arrested over the weekend for threatening to blow up McDonald’s because workers forgot to add dip sauce to his order.
According to police, Robert Golwitzer Jr., 42, was accused of calling for an explosion threat early Saturday morning after ordering a chicken nugget from Ankeny’s fast-foot restaurant. WHO 13..
In addition to the threat of the bomb, Golwitzer also said he would hit the workers over the phone, the report said.
Police allegedly called Golwitzer and admitted that he had made the threat over the phone and later in the precincts.
He has been charged with false reports of explosives or incendiary bombs.
Gorwitzer was imprisoned on Saturday and detained by Sunday.
