Lisa Marie Presley dies at 54

LOS ANGELES — Elvis Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie Presley, died Thursday after being hospitalized earlier in the day, her mother said in a statement.

In a statement, Priscilla Presley said, “It is with great sadness that I have to share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most passionate, strong, loving woman I’ve ever known.”

The announcement came just hours after Priscilla Presley confirmed that Lisa Marie Presley was taken to hospital on Thursday.

Los Angeles County paramedics were dispatched to a Calabasas home at 10:37 a.m. after receiving a report of a woman in complete cardiac arrest, according to county fire department spokesperson Craig Little. Property records show that Presley was a resident at her address.
