Kate Spade slammed Dylan Mulvaney’s trance endorsement for being ‘awakened’: ‘He’s a man’

Kate Spade New York has been slammed in a new promo video for the brand’s spring collection, joining forces with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Mulvaney, 26, who uses her/their pronouns, posted a clip TikTok on Tuesday It shows her shopping around Spade’s Rockefeller Center store, dodging on a white mini handbag and a pink puffy-sleeve dress, complete the look with a necklace and earrings.

“And honestly, I think I’m going to wear this out of the store,” Mulvaney said, running out the front door without paying.

The hilarious ad angered some conservatives, who accused Kate Spade of hiring transgender women to promote traditionally feminine clothing.

Other social media users defended Mulvaney and the brand, even teasing that a former Kate Spade customer was upset about the partnership.
