Kanye West withdraws from Rolling Loud Music Festival

This is not music to the ears of Kanye West fans.

Organizers announced on Sunday that hip-hop star, now using the stage name Ye, has dropped out of his headline spot at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in Miami next weekend.

He will replace fellow rapper Kid Cudi.

“You will not be playing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022 because of a situation we are out of control,” read the announcement on the Hip-Hop Music Festival’s Twitter page.

West planned to headline a three-day event at HardRock Stadium in collaboration with Future and Kendrick Lamar. Kid Cudi will be the main performance of the festival on Friday night.

Previously 45-year-old Archetypal Old West Canceled headlining set at Coachella Music Festival The Weeknd took that position in Indio, California in April.

West, who won the Grammy Award 24 times, is known for his songs such as “Jesus Walk,” “Through the Wire,” and “All of the Light.”
