Jonas Valanciunas jab at LeBron James without saying a word during a charade match on a Lithuanian television show.
He talked about his actions while he appeared in his home country.
Varane Tunas first rubbed his eyes and cried while imitating James in front of a live audience. He made it clear that the Lakers superstar was complaining about the foul. After the crowd burst into laughter, the 30-year-old went one step further and slammed into the floor trying to imitate James’ flop.
Varane Tunas’ speculators quickly spliced the references together and correctly speculated that the 6-foot-11 center was playing the role of James.
Varane Tunas and James hadn’t published each other’s beef prior to this shot, but their team hit a recently exchanged hit on Twitter last week.
The Twitter feud began after user @ thewhistle0 called Pelican’s official account by having the Twitter banners of five active players posing in the NBA Summer League match. This is in stark contrast to the banner of the Lakers account, which boasts 17 franchise championships. New Orleans replied, “Yes, our players enjoy sitting next to each other, not on the other side of the court.”
The reply was a direct digging into James and his teammate Russell Westbrook, who were seen sitting apart from each other in a previous Summer League Lakers game.
Perhaps the NBA’s latest rivalry is evolving right in front of us.
