I also love burgers, so naturally I headed uptown from the Midtown Newsroom to see for myself.

The vibe of the iconic New York staple is old-school rock and roll with a jukebox playing nostalgic tunes.

The burger arrived steaming hot with toppings on the side so I could completely customize it to my liking.

I used my favorite hamburger toppings, Dijon mustard and pickles.

After the first bite, I immediately knew why the A-list celebrity called this her new favorite New York City burger.

At $12.50, Gigi’s favorite is definitely cheaper than other sit-down burger joints in the city.

The burger size was a bit small for American standards, but it was filling and revitalized my taste for classic dishes.

It was worth a try as the prices are lower than other eateries in Manhattan.

When I visited, I saw all the different faces I expected to see in the Big Apple, including couples, authors, and people who didn’t see me filming myself eating burgers.

Maximalist artwork took me back in time, including a still life portrait of a watermelon hanging above a bar. It’s probably a wordplay on the restaurant’s moniker.

I thoroughly enjoyed Gigi’s favorite burger. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious favorites in a classic setting.
