Groundbreaking ceremony for new Buffalo Bills stadium at Orchard Park

orchard park, new york — of buffalo bills, Governor Kathy Hochul And Erie County officials broke ground for the Bills’ new stadium at Orchard Park on Monday.
The stadium is across from Highmark Stadium, which was built in 1973.
The 60,000-seat stadium is expected to cost $1.54 billion to build, according to Hochul’s office, making it the largest economic development project in western New York history.
“This place doesn’t just represent a great state-of-the-art facility. It represents dreams to be realized, memories to be made, stories to be told. And of course, many victories to be celebrated,” said Hochul. Told.
The new stadium is scheduled to open in 2026.
