Four NYPD officers injured after car crashes in Bronx

Soundview, Bronx (WABC) — Four police officers were injured in a car accident in the Bronx early Sunday morning.

Woke up shortly after 1am near Soundview and Seward Streets in the Soundview District.

Investigators said the marked vehicle was traveling east on Seaview Avenue with its lights and sirens on when it collided with a vehicle heading north.

Police vehicles responded to calls for assistance.

Four police officers were slightly injured in the incident.

The 25-year-old driver of the other vehicle was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center with back pain.
