Fort Bragg Soldiers Go to Super Bowl LVII Thanks to JJ Watt

Fayetteville, North Carolina — A Fort Bragg soldier gets the trip of a lifetime, thanks to the generosity of future Hall of Famer JJ Watt.

Watt, who recently announced his retirement from the NFL, tweeted a photo of Sgt. Jackson Bond announcing he would be attending this year’s Super Bowl.

Bond is the Reconnaissance Infantry Assistant Team Leader and was named 82nd Airborne Paratrooper of the Year for 2022.

“Representing the 82nd Division … given their sheer size as part of our nation’s history, it is a great honor to represent that division. It is an honor,” said Bond. Said.

Watt worked with the USAA and the 82nd Airborne Division Association to select soldiers who would win tickets to Super Bowl LVII on February 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
