Fort Bragg soldiers reportedly shot a pregnant wife scheduled for Christmas day deadly before pointing her own gun on Sunday night.
Staff Sergeant Keith Lewis, 31, was deadly shooting at his home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, when the couple’s three-year-old daughter was with them, the Army Times reported.
Keith Lewis was declared dead on the scene. His wife, 34-year-old Saraluis, was taken to the hospital, but she and her foetation were not saved.
“It’s a complete shock. It’s like a horror movie,” Sarah’s aunt Tammy de Mirza told WRAL.
“She was cheerful, fun, friendly, friendly and had a really helpful heart,” her aunt told the news station.
According to the report, Sarah will have a fourth child, the second with her second husband, Keith.
The family told WRAL that the mother was also a member of the military until her first baby was born.
According to Fayetteville observers, police in 2016 responded to a call for domestic disputes at Lewis’s home, but no charges were filed.
