Ford recalls 310,000 trucks to fix driver’s front airbag issue

Ford has recalled more than 310,000 trucks in the U.S. over fears that the driver’s front airbag may not inflate in a crash.
The recall applies to certain 2016 model year F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks.
According to the company, dust can accumulate on the cables inside the steering wheel and interrupt the electrical connection. Ford said it is not aware of any crashes or injuries resulting from the issue.
Dealers will replace steering wheel wiring assemblies free of charge to owners and will be notified starting July 5th.
Owners may hear crackling or clicking noises within the steering wheel, hearing steering wheel switches, or missing horns. The airbag warning light may also illuminate to indicate a problem.
