Firearms and drugs confiscated from Brampton’s residence

Peel region, June 30– – Investigators from the 21 Department of Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a Brampton man for firearm-related crimes. Division 21 Criminal Investigation Bureau officials, with the help of tactical rescue teams, carried out criminal law investigation warrants at Brampton’s residences in the areas of Bodden Street West and Williams Parkway.

The search warrant confiscated a semi-automatic .45 caliber pistol, a modified 9mm revolver, firearm ammunition, and stolen goods.

Paristosh Jhangi, a 21-year-old man from Brampton, was charged with the following charges:

  • Unauthorized possession of firearms
  • Possession of loaded banned or restricted firearms
  • Careless storage of firearms
  • Possession of weapons for dangerous purposes

He will appear in Brampton’s Ontario Court on Thursday, June 30, 2022 for a bail hearing.
