Fast Company hacked: Apple News compromised with offensive warnings

Push notifications containing graphics and racist language were sent to Apple News users after Fast Company’s news website was hacked, sources say.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night, New York time, and Apple News users received a push notification. This push notification contained the n word followed by a description of the sexual activity.
“THRAX was here” was written at the end of the message.
The Apple News app offers content from a variety of news organizations around the world, including Fast Company, who was named as the creator of Tuesday’s alert. A similar message appeared on Fast Company before their website went down.
“An incredibly offensive warning has been sent from the Fast Company that has been hacked,” Apple News said in a short statement on social media. “Apple News disabled the channel.”
Fast Company denounced the message as “vulgar” and said it would suspend its feed and website until the situation was resolved.
