Fantasy Football: Kerke, Ebron Leads Week 14 Tight End Rankings

December 9th – Travis Kerke, Eric Ebron, Darren Waller, Rob Gronkowski and Hunter Henry lead the tight end rankings for fantasy football in the 14th week of 2020.

Robert Tonyan, Mike Gesicki, Noah Fant, Dallas Goedert and Evan Engram conclude my top 10 options in this position. Tyler Eifert is one of my favorite sleepers this week.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the NFL’s schedule and player availability, we’ll be monitoring each player’s game status this week. Now that the goodbye week is over, there should be more options when it comes to finding the right defensive match for the tight end.

Check out my article on the players with the easiest and most difficult playoff schedules to find out who will start this postseason and who will avoid it.

Here are some of my favorite players in this week’s Top 20 rankings.

Top shelf

The Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Travis Kerke is my number one choice for this week and the rest of the fantasy football playoffs. Kerke has won at least 100 yards in four of the last five games. He has also scored in two of the last three games and continues to be one of the NFL’s most targeted players.

He’s had a tough match against the Miami Dolphins this week, but I think he’s still quite successful in the Red Zone and will be the top tight end of the 14th week.

The Pittsburgh Steelers tight-end Eric Ebron scored the season’s highest 68 yards in the 13th week. He also has at least four catches in three consecutive games. This week, the Steelers face Buffalo Bills. Bills allowed the sixth most fantasy points per game in that position.

I expect Ebron to carry at least 7 catches for a score of 60 yards. He is my second tight end.

SNEAKY PLAYS

The Los Angeles Chargers tight end hunter Henry is ranked 5th in my ranking. Henry caught only once in 5 yards in the 13th week, but he got hot in the previous three games.

Expect another great fantasy football performance from Henry this week as the Chargers face the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game in that position. Henry is a must-see in leagues with tight end slots.

Denver Broncos’ tight end Noah Fant is another TE1 candidate for Week 14. Fant isn’t in the end zone much this season, but he has enough goals to consider a starter in the tight end league of at least 12 teams.

Broncos will face the Carolina Panthers in the 14th week. The Panthers allowed the fifth most receiving yard to the tight end. Fant is my 8th choice.

Long shot

Dallas Gedert continues to look at the target with the Philadelphia Eagles attack after the tight-end Zack Eltz returns. Gedert has scored at least 65 yards in each of the last three games for the 14th week of the match against New Orleans Saints.

Saints has a very strong defense this year, but we hope that the new Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will target Gedelt enough for productive fantasy football performance. Gedert is a near lock of at least eight targets. He is my ninth choice.

The Jacksonville Jaguars Tight End Tyler Eifelt is a darts throw option for the 14th week position. There is Eifelt who is 16th in the ranking.

Jaguar will host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Titans allowed the tight end the eighth most fantasy points per game. Eifert recorded the best six catches of the season in the 13th week. I hope he keeps watching Jaguar’s attack at once.

He’s a tight end option that deserves the 14th week stream, but only if you’re desperate for that position.
