Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, tested positive for the coronavirus, a spokesman confirmed to the Associated Press on Friday.
A spokeswoman says the young Trump learned his diagnosis earlier this week and is asymptomatic and quarantined.
Trump Jr. is the latest member of the virus-infected presidential family.
The President, the First Lady, and their son Baron have recovered from the virus.
Trump Jr. is also the second person in the president’s orbit who tested positive for the virus on Friday alone. Earlier that day, it was revealed that Andrew Giuliani, the son of Trump’s private attorney Rudy Giuliani and the president’s public relations assistant, tested positive for COVID.
This is a developing story. Please check for updates.
