So far, rockets haven’t run all-stars. In fact, they added one.
Despite rumors of dissatisfaction from Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the duo are still in Houston and DeMarcus Cousins is now joining them on a one-year contract, ESPN reported.
“I am grateful for the opportunity and excited about the future,” said his cousin.
The 30-year-old cousin is a four-time all-star with an average double-double career of 21.2 points and 10.9 rebounds. However, his career was interrupted by two serious injuries. In February 2018, he tore the Achilles tendon while playing for Pelican. Last year he broke ACL and didn’t play in one Lakers game. He has played only 78 games in the last three years.
My cousin is one of the two big rocket additions and has joined the former Pistons forward Christian Wood in the breakout season. It’s unclear when Harden and Westbrook will start the season on December 22nd. If so, they will get more help with paint.
