Groveland, Florida (AP) — After a clothes dryer began to blow a lot of lint, the Florida family was called a repairman and found a dead snake instead of a clogged motor.

“I thought,’Oh, that’s blown the motor,'” Alison Pudding told the Orlando television station. WKMG..

The station reports that repairman Darrell Cobble stopped by to find out the cause of the problem.

“He just stands up and goes away. He’s like” there’s a dead snake, “” said Pudding.

Cobble told the station that snakes can go into the dryer, although it’s not common. He usually said there was a grate to keep snakes and other animals out of the dryer. But Pudding’s central Florida home didn’t have it.

They will be on the lookout now, Alison Pudding said.

“It might have been worse, but I’m glad it ended dead. I’m ready to fix it and go,” she said.
