October 17 (UPI) — Sitts Creek co-creators and stars Dan Levy signed a deal to make his directorial debut with Good grief. The Emmy Award-winner has written Netflix movies, starring Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Luke EvansCelia Imrie, Arnaud Valois, David Bradley and Jamael Westman.
Levy also produces projects through the Not A Real Production Company banner.
The story follows Mark Dreyfus, a man who leaves for Paris with two close friends after the death of his mother and husband.
“Good grief It’s a didactic tale about friendship and loss, and all the turmoil that ensues when you’ve avoided the truth for most of your life. And I hope it inspires others to do the same,” Levy said in a statement Monday.
