Crime in New York City: Teenager grazed by bullets while standing outside his Upper West Side apartment

Manhattan, Upper West Side (WABC) — A 17-year-old girl was struck by a bullet while standing outside her Upper West Side apartment on Friday night, police said.

Officers said the boy grazed his head shortly after 10 p.m. while standing outside 830 Columbus Avenue near 101st Street.

She was taken to hospital but is believed to be safe.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
