Close relationship with Bill Ritter: MTA Chairman Janno Lieber on Subway Safety, WINNYC CEO Christine Quinn on Working with the Homeless

New York City (WABC)-This episode of Upclose had a spectacular admission from New York City Mayor Eric Adams this week.

After saying that the subway is safe, he also says he no longer feels the safety of the system.

His comment came after a woman was killed in front of an oncoming train at a station in Times Square.

More NYPD officers have been stationed in the subway, what else can we do?

Bill Ritter speaks with MTA Chairman and CEO Janno Lieber.

According to police, the homeless man charged with the case has a history of mental illness.

This is one of several recent violent crimes that sheds light on the risks posed by homeless people and the plight of those who have nothing.

Bill talks to Christine Quinn, president and CEO of WINNYC, a group that supports homeless women and their families.
