CBSA and CBP Open NEXUS and FAST Centers in the United States

Ottawa: The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have announced the opening of a NEXUS/Free and Secure Trade (FAST) registration center in Halton, Maine. The official opening is February 10th.

CBSA and CBP personnel will work together to conduct joint interviews. The center is open two days a week, Friday and Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.

Applicants can schedule an interview on CBP’s Trusted Traveler portal.

The opening of this registration center builds on the steps CBSA and CBP have taken to expand the capacity of the program to register applicants, as announced on January 25, 2023, and will allow aviation by spring 2023. In addition to plans to expand more registration options for travelers.
