Buffalo supermarket shooters have been radicalized by New Zealand mosque killer – New York Daily News

According to a 180-page manifest posted online, a man accused of killing 10 people in a buffalo supermarket on Saturday killed dozens of people in two shots three years ago. I was influenced by the person.

Eighteen-year-old Peyton Gendron wrote a horribly cold “question and answer” section in the manifesto detailing his belief in white supremacism that he attempted to attack Buffalo.

He said, “The particular person who made (his) the most radical” was Brenton Tarrant, Killed 51 people Shooting at two New Zealand mosques in 2019.

The Manifest also influenced Gendron, including Dylann Roof, a young man who killed nine blacks in a church in South Carolina in 2015, and Norwegian Andersbrevik, who killed 77 in 2011. I nominated a few people.

In the manifesto, Gendron said he spent his life in southern New York. He described himself as a student in the engineering department at SUNY Bloom.

Police said the murderer drove “a few hours away” to carry out the attack. Gendron lives in Conklin, New York, and is reported to live about three and a half hours drive from Buffalo.

“The truth is my personal life and the experience is not worth it,” read the manifesto. Gendron wrote that his white supremacist ideology came “mainly from the Internet” and “had little or no impact on my personal beliefs by the people I met in person.”

The chilling document details how Gendron planned the attack.

“Buffalo zip code 14208 (Tops Friendly Markets zip code) has the highest percentage of black, close enough to where I live,” Gendron writes.

He also said he had purchased body armor to protect himself from bullets fired by store guards. Police leaders said they shot a retired Buffalo police guard before Gendron rampaged.

Gendron’s manifesto also included pages and pages of anti-Semitic rants, but his attack plans focused exclusively on blacks.

“I have never been diagnosed with a mental disorder or disability,” he writes. “I believe I’m completely sane.”

Gendron was arrested at Tops Friendly Markets after shooting 13 people and killing 10 people. Of the 13 people he shot, 11 were black, police said. He was charged with murder, and investigators said he could face terrorism and hate criminal charges.
