Buffalo community is involved in the worst shootings in the city

Buffalo, New York -The day after a gunman shot and killed 10 people in a grocery store and injured 3 others, the Buffalo community gathered to begin the healing process.

The suspect, 18-year-old Peyton Gendron, allegedly arrived in the tops market in armed and tactical equipment before turning a quiet Saturday afternoon into a nightmare for many.

“I was tagging aisle 14 for next week’s sale, when I heard ammunition fired inside the store,” one man told Kevin Rincon of CBS2. “I grabbed the producer, night operations manager, like four or five customers, told them to enter the conference room, and barricaded the door.”

According to police, Gendron is from a small town more than three hours away.

The mayor of Buffalo said the shooter’s intention was to “take as many blacks as possible” and to put the community at the edge.

Dozens of people came out for a rally directed to the rally on Sunday when people were suffering from a wide range of emotions, from sadness and anger to complete frustration.

Governor Kathy Hokul spoke at a monument not far from the rally.

“This is a unique league. It’s a whole new dimension, it’s skin color, it’s attacked people because they’re cowards. I now want to silence those voices,” Hokuru said. Told.

Gendron was charged with first-class murder. He pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces the possibility of life imprisonment without parole.
