Bucks gets Jrue Holiday from Jeannis Push Pelican

Milwaukee Bucks, who is reportedly trying to persuade NBA Most Valuable Player Janice Adetokumpo to stay for a long time, added an all-star point guard on Monday night.

According to The Athletic and ESPN, Bucks acquired Jrue Holiday from Pelican and sent security guards Eric Bledsoe and George Hill to New Orleans with three future first-round draft topics. This deal also features two future draft topic swaps.

The 30-year-old was named the 2020 NBA Teammate of the Year, ending the season with an average of 19.1 points, 6.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

Antetokounmpo has been named the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year for 2019-20 after the second consecutive MVP season. A 25-year-old Greek with one year left on his current contract could sign a $ 220- $ 250 million Supermax contract extension over five years to stay in Bucks.

He has hinted in the past that his willingness to stay in Milwaukee is directly related to his ability to compete consistently with the franchise. Questions about his future were raised after the team was sent off in the second round of the heat in five games within the Orlando NBA Bubble.

Holiday, the first round pick of 76ers from UCLA in 2009 (17th overall), spent four years in Philadelphia before being traded to New Orleans in July 2013. Holiday, the final season all-star of the 76ers, averaged 15.9 points, 6.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 713 games (640 starts).

Bledsoe, 30, spent three seasons in Milwaukee, averaging 14.9 points, 5.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds recently. He previously played for the Los Angeles Clippers (2010-11-2012-13) and Phoenix Suns (2013-14-2017-18), and his career criteria are 14.2 points, 4.8 assists and 4 rebounds per game.

34-year-old Hill led the NBA with a 46% success rate from the 3-point range last season, scoring 81 out of 176 attempts. He averaged 9.4 points, 3.1 assists and 3 rebounds in 2019-20, with a career average of 11.1 points, 3.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds. Hill is San Antonio Spurs (2008-09 to 2010-11), Indiana Pacers (2011-12 to 2015-16), Utah Jazz (2016-17), Sacramento Kings (2017-18), Cleveland Cavaliers (2017) -18 to 2018-19) and Milwalky.
